About

At Synertronic Designs we develop and manufacture photo-diode digitizers, custom CMOS and InGaAs linear array cameras for UV, VIZ, NIR and SWIR and data acquisition solutions.

Founded in 2003 and based in the academic heart of Stellenbosch, South Africa, Synertronic Designs combines scientific depth with engineering artistry. While our origins lie in pulse power and switch-mode supplies, our focus has evolved toward cutting-edge opto-electronic instrumentation, custom imaging platforms, and real-time data digitization systems. Our legacy power products still support specialized applications, but our passion lies in creating modern tools for the next era of optical science.

Our core product lines—LineScan cameras and photodiode digitizers—are designed to deliver uncompromising data fidelity, real-time responsiveness, and seamless integration into complex experimental systems. We serve with tools engineered for: Linear spectral imaging across visible, NIR, and SWIR bands, Pulse-resolved diagnostics for femtosecond and nanosecond lasers and Custom sensor integration with flexible optical and electronic interfaces.
